On November 29, 2024, BYD’s Findreams battery held a new conference for construction machinery, launching three new battery products.
The first is an integrated version, which Findreams battery called the world’s first CTB construction machinery battery, with 320Wh/L ultra-high integration, 6 years 35,000 hours of whole life, and system cycle life ≥ 7000 times. And the product can meet 6 times the old national standard vibration requirements, can work normally in -40 to 65 ° C full temperature range environment, and meet the plateau tunnel scene rapid power change demand.
The second is the super hybrid version, which is called the world’s first subversive hybrid battery product and the world’s first mass-produced super hybrid battery for construction machinery. It can also be applied to full-temperature working conditions, and it supports 4C super charging, which takes only 10 minutes to charge the power from 20% to 80%.
The third is the fast-charging version, Findreams battery said that this is the world’s first fastest charging pure electric construction machinery battery, the product supports 400A current, the highest withstand voltage 1500V.
According to reports, the above three models are equipped with high safety lithium iron phosphate blade batteries, which is the same source of BYD automobile electric core, can take into account both high efficiency performance and battery safety. The product is presented in a honeycomb-like sandwich structure, experienced harsh needle puncture experiments, with super safety, ultra-high life, ultra-long range and other characteristics.

It is reported that BYD has optimized the performance and service life of two-tricycle batteries in all aspects by virtue of its in-depth research and development in the three core areas of super cell technology, advanced battery management system (BMS), and innovative super architecture, combined with comprehensive extreme testing methods.
In addition, the two companies have also worked together to build a cloud-based big data platform – “Vehicle-Electricity-Cloud Safety System”. By collecting and analyzing battery operation data in real time, the system is able to accurately identify and warn potential safety risks in advance, thus providing users with more comprehensive and detailed travel protection.
According to SPIR data, TAILG is a TOP-level company in China’s electric two-wheeled vehicle market, accounting for more than 12% of the market share. This cooperation with TAILG will further increase BYD’s shipment of light-duty power batteries.
