AGV lithium battery When to remove or replace
The normal service life of AGV lithium-ion battery is usually around 2-3 years, but the service life is more than 4, 5 or even 6 years. In fact, the service life of the battery is closely related to our daily battery maintenance and use. How to determine whether the AGV lithium-ion battery needs to be dismantled and replaced, we can analyze the following points:
1. At present, more than 80% of maintenance-free AGV lithium-ion batteries have electric observation ports. Three colors can be seen in the observation port:green, yellow and black. Green means full power, yellow means slight power loss, and black means the battery is invalid to be replaced. For more information, please refer to the label on the battery.
2. Observe the appearance, see if there is a distinctive swelling deformation or bulge on both sides of the AGV lithium-ion battery. Observe whether there are white or green powdery objects around the pile head. In fact, these are the oxides of the battery. Good quality batteries or new batteries will not appear these oxides easily. Once they appear, it means that the performance of the battery is starting to have problems.
3. Measure the battery voltage through a battery meter or multimeter. Under normal circumstances, the no-load voltage of AGV lithium-ion batteries is about 13V, the full-load voltage is generally not less than 12V, and the starting voltage is not less than 9.5V. If the battery voltage is low, it is likely to be difficult or impossible to start.
