AGV lithium battery how to choose
Regarding how to choose AGV lithium batteries, we can make a decision based on major aspects as voltage, battery communication protocols, the use of the environment, safety and so on. Below are four major aspects’ description:
1, AGV lithium battery voltage should be consistent with the machine, the rated voltage of the battery should be higher than the rated voltage of the AGV, but the voltage should not be higher than the machine voltage when the battery is fully charged.

2, There are three types of communication protocols for AGV lithium batteries, RS232, RS485, CAN. We select the BMS control module for the lithium battery based on the communication protocol.
3, An important factor in the operating environment is the temperature. Lithium iron phosphate batteries (LFP batteries) are resistant to high temperatures and are safer than ternary batteries (NCM batteries) when utilized in high temperature environments. However, the efficiency of lithium iron phosphate batteries (LFP batteries) will be reduced in low temperature environment, so it is more suitable to use ternary batteries (NCM batteries) in low temperature environment.

4, The last and most important factor is safety, lithium iron phosphate batteries (LFP batteries) are much better than ternary lithium ion batteries (NCM batteries) in terms of safety and stability.
