Kickoff 2025:CATL Signed Big International Battery Orders

CATL is continuing to further consolidate its competitive advantage in energy storage battery through technological innovation, overseas market expansion and cooperation with global leaders.

Since the start of 2025, CATL has made rapid progress in its international energy storage battery business.

On January 17, at the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week, Masdar, an international renewable energy company in the UAE, announced CATL as the preferred supplier of battery energy storage system, and CATL will provide 19GWh energy storage system for it.

On January 27,CATL reached a strategic cooperation agreement with global logistics giant DHL Group to provide advanced liquid-cooled energy storage systems and energy management platforms for DHL’s global logistics parks.

On March 6, Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners, a global sustainable energy infrastructure investor, announced that it will cooperate with CATL and plans to develop an 8-hour battery energy storage project in Australia with a deployment of 3GW/24GWh.

It can be seen that CATL is continuing to further consolidate its competitive advantages in the field of energy storage through technological innovation, overseas market expansion and cooperation with global leading enterprises. In addition to the above-mentioned cooperative enterprises, CATL’s overseas energy storage customers also include NextEra, Synergy, Excelsior and other internationally renowned enterprises.

According to its recently disclosed Hong Kong stock prospectus, from 2021 to 2024, CATL has been honored as the No. 1 in the global energy storage battery market share for four consecutive years, and in 2024, it will set another record high with a market share of 41%, with a shipment volume of 110GWh.
